Visit Jax Track and the University of North Florida’s Jacksonville campus will host the Florida High School Track & Field State Championships once again in collaboration with the university. Classes 2A, 3A, and Para-Athlete Divisions will compete on Friday, and Classes 1A and 4A will compete on Saturday. The tournament is scheduled to be a one-day event for the competing categories.
After qualifying and moving on through the District and Regional rounds that have been held over the past several weeks, all of the athletes are traveling to Jacksonville this weekend. Overall team titles will be given out in each of the classifications, along with the designation of individual state champions per event and classification.
As of right now, tickets are available for $14.00 per day for advance purchases and $17.00 per day at the University of North Florida Athletics Ticket Office. Each entry ticket already includes a $3 parking fee; no additional fees are collected on-site.
