However, the Tigers’ experience and depth proved crucial. Led by senior point guard Michael Davis, who orchestrated the offense with pinpoint passes and timely baskets, Newton slowly regained control. Davis finished with a game-high 22 points and 7 assists, showcasing his all-around talent.
