Ellie Kleve, the Dragons’ leading scorer, once again proved her worth, pouring in a game-high 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Sophia Bencomo provided valuable support with a well-rounded performance of 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals.

The Cougars, led by Abigail Dille’s 18 points and 8 rebounds, refused to go down without a fight. They kept pace with the Dragons throughout the first half, ending the second quarter tied at 28 points apiece. However, the Dragons displayed their composure in the crucial second half, outscoring the Cougars 17-12 in the third quarter and holding on for the win despite a late surge from Sedgwick County.
