Cape-Atlantic Girls Volleyball Player of the Year, Stat Leaders, and Final Ranking, 2023

The 2023 Cape-Atlantic Girls Volleyball season concluded with Mainland’s Bradee Boyd being named Player of the Year, leading the conference in kills with 214. Boyd’s impressive performance helped Mainland secure a second-place finish with a 14-10 record.

Atlantic Tech emerged as the conference champions, boasting a 15-11 record. The Vikings’ success was fueled by the playmaking abilities of Makenna Ditzel, who led the conference with 342 assists. Rizza Abadinas also played a pivotal role in Atlantic Tech’s victory, tallying a conference-high 152 digs. Olivia Magro contributed to the Vikings’ dominance with 49 aces, the most in the conference.

Hammonton rounded out the top three with a 13-12 record. Pleasantville, Ocean City, and Middle Township followed closely behind, each recording winning seasons.

The remaining teams, Cedar Creek, Wildwood, Egg Harbor Township, and St. Augustine, faced more challenging seasons, but their resilience and dedication to the sport were evident throughout the year.
